BJP’s campaign to highlight the benefits of Budget 2023 will start today

Union Budget 2023: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will launch a 12-day nationwide campaign on Wednesday to reach out to the public and convey the benefits of the budget to be unveiled today by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

The party source told the ANI news agency that the BJP will hold a countrywide discussion on the Union Budget starting today, February 1. The discussion will continue until February 12.

The ruling party will also carry out a nationwide campaign to spread awareness which will be announced in the budget today. The national chairman of the BJP, JP Nadda, has set up a nine-member committee for the BJP.

“Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Kumar Modi has been appointed as coordinator of the committee. On 4-5 February, Government of India ministers, national officials and economic experts will hold budget conferences at 50 important centers, including the capitals of various states of the country”, the party source told ANI.

Over the next two weeks, Chief Ministers, State Presidents, Ministers, MPs and MLAs from BJP-ruled states will hold conferences and public meetings across the country to discuss the budget and its benefits with ordinary people.

Conferences will be organized in all districts and the main budget issues will be brought to the public down to the block level.

At the central level, many economic experts, including Sunil Bansal, national general secretary Yuva, and national president Kishan morcha, have been appointed as members of this committee, party sources were quoted as saying by ANI.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the 2023 Budget today, Wednesday 1 February. The presentation of this year’s Budget is significant as it is the last full budget of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government before the upcoming parliamentary elections in 2024, scheduled for April-May 2024.
