Ricky Kej from Bengaluru wins third Grammy Award and dedicates trophy to India

Indian songwriter and music producer Ricky Kej won his third career Grammy award on Monday. His album ‘Divine Tides’, which was nominated in the Best Immersive Audio Album category.

Only the fourth Indian to win a Grammy Award, he is also the country’s youngest recipient. Prior to this, Kej had won another Grammy for Best New Age Album in 2022. The songwriter also won for his 2015 album, ‘Winds of Samsara.’

“I just won my third Grammy Award. Extremely grateful, I am speechless! I dedicate this award to India. @copelandmusic. Herbert Waltl Eric Schilling Vanil Veigas Lonnie Park,” he tweeted after the win.
