Science 20 conference as part of the G20 that will take place in Puducherry

The Science 20 Conference, part of the G20 Conference, is currently taking place in Puducherry. It was attended by more than 75 participants from G20 member countries, as well as friendly countries such as India, China and the United States. The conference revolves around three main themes, including holistic global health, promoting clean energy for a more sustainable future, and merging science and society/culture to execute science-based solutions.

The Science 20 conference is part of the two-day G20 meeting that will take place in Puducherry from Monday. He has assembled a delegation of 75 representatives from G20 member countries and partner nations, including India, China, the US, Turkey, Sweden, South Korea, Australia, Brazil, France, Indonesia, the European Union and England.

The conference began with speeches from Indonesia, last year’s host of the G20 conference, India, this year’s president, and Brazil, which will assume the presidency next year. The event focuses on three central themes, such as global health and well-being, clean energy adoption for a greener future, and the integration of science, society, and culture to drive science-based solutions.

A prohibition order has been issued under section 144 in the vicinity of hotels, airports and conference facilities used by foreign delegations. The conference site is surrounded by five levels of police security.

Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, announced Monday that India’s G20 Presidency will host more than 200 meetings.

The BJP leader made the proclamation in Chandigarh at the first meeting of the International Financial Architecture Working Group (IFAWG).

During the event, Agriculture Minister Tomar expressed his pride and joy that India is hosting events as part of its G20 presidency. He said more than 200 meetings will be held in more than 50 locations across the country, with around 200,000 representatives expected to attend.
